Hello Everyone,

I am researching the Surname Childress or any variation of that surname.
I don't have much information to go on . All I know about this particular Childress/etc
had a son born in the late 1920s around 1926/27/28/or 1930. This male child died
in England after 1995 and before 1998. His name was Edward/Eddy/Eddie and was
generally called Eddy or Chap. That is all the information I have. I know this is not much at all,
but I am hoping that someone out there has at least heard of or has known of a family
by the name of Childress who lived in the British Virgin Islands during the later part of
the 1920s. I think the Childress parents were American. Any help or hint, just about anything
about this Childress family could be of great help. I have tried almost everything. Would
the British Virgin Islands' birth records be housed in the Islands or in Great Britian. Does
anyone know this information? Many thanks for anything helpful
Kay.
