My Great Great Grandfather Anthony Mackenrot was an assitant judge on Tortola around 1815 when a French squadron harrassed the british merchant ships. He accused Admiral Cockrane of cowardice as his 74 gun fleet of ships where within attacking distance. An interesting law suit ensued over slander. I am also trying to discover if Anthony Mackenrot had any children born whilst on the island?
