Ryan ancestery

I am searching for information in regards to my great-grand father James W. Ryan who lived on Cayman Brac in the 1800's. My research indicates that he died around 1887 in a shipwreck off the coast of Hatteras. If anyone has any information in regards to the Ryan family in Cayman Brac I would greatly appreciate it!

Hi I have passed your message on to someone who MAY be able to help, her father was George Ryan and she has an uncle by the name of James William Ryan, so imagine they must be related to the one you were inquiring about. She too was also raised in Cayman Brac.
