My great x 3 grandfather, Duncan Campbell, apparently owned a plantation in Grenada when he died in London in 1812, after returning from the West Indies. I would like to know if he had any family in Grenada and which plantation he owned.

I've got Campbells on my mother's side of the family. Granny (Colina Bain nee Campbell) says that her grandfather, Ronald Campbell, owned Chadeau, and this was divided among two brothers, Malcolm Campbell and Gustave Campbell - her father. Gustave also owned Mt. Eldon, Rosemount and Bailey's Bacolet. Unfortunately I can't trace any further back than Ronald at the moment.

Re Campbell--Brian Steele.
I have read your response, & noted that you have connections with an estate named Rosemount. My research so far has revealed an estate called Belmont & Mount Rose, owned by one J.A. Campbell, in the 1867 Grenada census. I'd appreciate it if you could pass on any further information on these estates or family connections should you have any.
Thank you in anticipation.
