Mt. Airy Cemetary Tombstone List

I visited Grenada in 2006 and recorded the following information from tombstones in the Mt. Airy Cemetery in St. Paul's District, St. George's Parish.

If your family hails from St. Paul's District (Mt. Parnassus, Mt. Hope, Good Hope, La Borie, etc.) or St. David's on the border with St. Paul's (Perdmontemps, Gozeau Town, Epping Forest, etc.) it is possible that they may have been buried here.

The cemetery is not well tended - there were broken tombstones all around and often the inscriptions on older tombstones had been worn away. Also, there was a corner of the cemetery I could not penetrate, due to thick, head-high grass growing there.

Note: Some family plots had several family members' info recorded on one headstone.
