I am researching my ggrandparents, Cornelius and
Alice (McCann) Cannon from County Ayr. Alice
was born in 1837 in County Ayr. Cornelius was
born in 1835 in N.Ireland
They married in Kilbirnie on 29 OCT 1856. They
were the parents of seven children, their eldest
Maryanne (my grandmother) born 25 FEB 1858 in
County Ayr.
Alice's parents were Miles and Margaret (McShane)
McCann (born in Ireland, emigrated to CO Ayr
about 1830) Any information on either family truly appreciated. Thank you.
