Elizabeth Loche

Elizabeth Loche is said to have had 3 children by the 4 th Earl of Wemys or wemyss. She apparently came from Dundee to help the Earl take care of his children, because his wife had died.
David, James and Williamia all used Wemyss as thier surname.
THey were came over the Tracy's Landing Marland to live with their Uncle because Elizabeth died while having Williamia. They came to America in 1720. Thank you for your assistance. I belong to the Magna Charter Dames and I need to trace by to Scotland.

Looks like this needs some proper research.
At present the records suggest that David & James were twins as they were both born in 1706 to David Wemyss & Elizabeth Lock(e) and that Williamina was born on 6th. Dec,1704.
There is evidence to suggest that Elizabeth Lock was really married to a William McDuff in 1705.
David died 5th. May 1779 in Anne Arundel, Maryland
James died 13 Aug 1781 in Calvert, Maryland
Williamina died 1784 (locus unknown)
