I am looking for information on John Richards M.A who was born in 1760. He was a reverend in St Mair Church of Llanerchymedd from 1800 to the year of 1832, when he died. He is buried in the chancel of that same church. He was married to Ann or Anne Parry and were married at Llanfairmathafarneithaf we think. He was the father founder of the Sunday School movement on Anglesey. We believe he was also a teacher, and taught at Llanallgo???
Can anyone tell me where he was born (was it Ystrad Meurig or Anglesey) also if you klnow anything about his parents.
He was related to Edward Richards of Ystrad Meurig, who founded the Ystrad Meurig school, of whom a book has been written about him by D.G.Osbourne-Jones.
