Good Day and happy New Year Dear All!
My Grandfather was Born in Trinidad, specifically in Port of Spain, he was born in 1914, he spent 9 years there. We tried a couple of times to contact the Trinidad Embassy but they just said that when he was born Trinidad was part of the commonwealth so it has to be directed through the UK, by any chance do you know how can we get his birth certificate, giving the fact that none of us lives there, I went to a Government website and found a certificate request form, but we don't have a lot of stuff that needs to be filled, we don't even know the Hospital, we just have of course his data.
