Are there any members of the PAYNE family in Dominica who might be connected??
My gt. gt. grandfather Joseph was born abt 1853 and worked as ships cook until hisd eath at sea in 1899. he married and settled in Liverpool in the UK.
I am anxious to discover details of his birth records and parentage, all l know is that his father was a farmer named Nicholas.
Would love to hear if anyone can help me in my search AND tell me where l go to find info on docmentation for Dominican births please.
