Ferguson, Garraway

I'm interested in finding out more about the location and activities of a Scottish sugar planter called George Ferguson, who went to Grenada after the French took Tobago, of which he had been Lieut. Governor, in 1781.
I have a lot of information on his family background, and on his later life after he returned to Scotland in the early 1800s.
One incident I am curious about is a duel he fought with a Mr. Garraway at 6 am, Mon 19th Oct 1795, behind the artillery barracks, with pistols. The causes are not clear. Apparently, Mr. Garraway gave the first insult, and challenged Ferguson for responding. Ferguson was wounded in the jaw or neck, but recovered.
I should like to know who Mr. Garraway was, and if anyone knows more about the background to the incident.
I am not related to these individuals, but have been reaearching another member of George Ferguson's family, and would like to know more about the wider background.
best wishes,
Morag
