In researching my family, I have been able to go as far back as the birth of my GGGrandfather . His name was Bartholomew Fleming and he was born in Allegheny Co. PA in 1804. I beleive his father's name was Robert. Robert Fleming is said to have emmigrated from Argyllshire to Pennsylvania about 1790. The family is said to have originated in Wales, moving to England before settling in Scotland. My source of info is Bartholomew's son, quoted in the Encyclopedia of Biography, probably from the early-mid nineteen hundreds. Can anyone direct me to a ship's list or resource that might list Robert?
