I am stuck in Perth Western Australia, and wonder if anyone can help me with information re my g.g. g.grandfather James Hewett. His daughter was baptised in Liberton Kirk, Midlothian, on 21-3-1821, and on the certificate it states that she is the daughter of James Hewett (farmer) and Ellen Johnson. The two parents seem to have come from nowhere and gone back there again. Any information or suggestions gratefully received.
